Our unique program offers combined companion care and homemaking for patients. For most older adults, these needs go hand in hand. We offer the highest professional care at your doorstep.

The companion/homemaker provided by our agency is just as another family member who will manage all essential tasks. Their duties range from doing the laundry to playing games with patients, or simply providing companionship. They are also trained to answer all patient’s needs including administering medications or providing transport to a medical appointment.

If patients do not require the combined service of companion/homemaker, they can receive them separately. At Corner Stone PHC LLC we see companionship care as providing older adults with a friend. Their primary responsibility is to spend time with their designated patient. They are also trained to do the following:

Arrange transportation for their patients
Read books to them
Play social and board games
Walk with their patients
Monitor the household

Homemaking is a more direct duty. Homemaking is something that comes as an addition to companionship care, but we also offer the service separately. If you chose a homemaker from our agency you will receive all benefits of a companion but additional services including:

Doing the laundry and grocery shopping
Preparing and administering the meals
Cleaning the house and taking out the garbage
Organizing the patient’s schedule
